ABOUT US: THE AUTHOR & ILLUSTRATOR

Shanene, the little sis, began her career as a legal assistant and eventually found her way into the financial industry. Since 2014, Shanene has worked on various ad hoc projects, conference planning, communications, and marketing initiatives for a leading financial firm. She is an advocate for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Shanene holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Master of Arts in Organizational Communication from Marist College, and a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion in HR from eCornell. During the sports season, you can find her rooting for the Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Cowboys.

Sheldon Muldrow, Shanene's older brother, graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Fine Arts minor in 2003. Later obtaining his doctorate in podiatric medicine in 2010. While maintaining a career as a healthcare provider, he continues to follow his interests in the arts. He spends some of his spare time drawing in a sketchbook and painting still life. Sheldon enjoys quality time with family, as much as possible, and is an avid sports fanatic.

Shanene and Sheldon, the sibling duo, are motivated to create literature to keep all adolescents, engaged and excited about books.  They share a passion for creativity and thought-provoking stories for all ages.  

They have released their first of the Sawyer, Kid Lawyer Series.
